Mike Foster

It is with much sadness that we inform you that Mike Foster sadly and unexpectedly died on the morning of the 21st of July 2023, whilst on holiday in France with his wife Alison.

Our condolences, love and offer of support, go out to Phil, Richard and Alison at this time & hope that this offers them some comfort in amongst their grief and shock. Words can’t describe how they must be feeling.

Mike has been a member of Chapeltown Hockey Club for many, many years and has probably held all of the positions on their committee over this time. An enormous hole has been left in the club and the lives of those closest to him.

Words can’t begin to explain the shock and grief that will filter through his club and the hockey community at the loss of a great man and champion of our sport.
